Hi!

My  name is Aisha. I'm honored you are here. I am so lucky to walk alongside people finding their own inner light, heart, and wisdom. Let's work towards helping you release high-functioning anxiety, experience daily life with more balance and fulfillment, and navigate relationships with yourself and others with more ease.

About Me

Becoming a trauma therapist…wasn’t a linear process for me.

My journey started in law school, where I pursued both law and psychology. Although I had to set aside psychology due to financial practicalities, my passion for the field never wavered. After marrying a military man and relocating from the east coast to Texas, I struggled to find a legal job that aligned with my goals. This challenge led me to pivot once more toward my first love: using psychology to lift others up and help them through dark times and provide mental health access to marginalized communities.

I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the vision of starting my own practice after my husband’s retirement. But in 2021, when we moved from Texas to Washington, I had to reimagine my career once again. This led me to create my teletherapy practice, allowing me to continue doing the work I love no matter where life takes us.I have always been driven to help people from all backgrounds – across intersections of race, class, and socioeconomic status – access the tools and support they need to build a fulfilling life, as they define it for themselves. And I’m here to help you do the same.

Together, we can move through whatever’s keeping you stuck so you can discover balance, healing, and alignment in your life. I work with clients from all walks of life to help them uncover meaning, process their stories, and develop skills to navigate relationships and life transitions with confidence.

When I'm not helping clients, you can usually find me in my kitchen covered in flour, whipping up treats or getting crafty with my latest projects. My pups, Elizabeth Jane and Austen Dickens, are always "helping" (mostly by getting in the way and looking cute!). Between creative spurts, I'm either planning my next adventure or unwinding with a British TV show.

What My Clients Say

My clients often tell me they appreciate my honesty, patience, and ability to create a safe, open space where they can be themselves. They value the time I take to understand their unique challenges and the practical, compassionate tools I offer to help them move forward.

Through therapy, you can:

  • Learn coping skills to manage anxiety and stress

  • Build healthier relationships with yourself and others

  • Gain a deeper understanding of your emotions and behaviors

  • Reconnect with your sense of purpose and joy

Life will always have challenges and setbacks. Therapy doesn’t make those go away. Instead, therapy helps you reclaim the strength, confidence, and resilience to face those challenges in a healthy way.

Life is messy. You deserve unconditional regard and acceptance. I meet you where you are – without judgment or an agenda.
